Parent Worries A-Z: Broken Bones

Child dangers and safety tips!

Child danger–Broken Bones: Most kids break a bone! Don’t stress it. Although it seems like an eternity, it takes 3 weeks for a baby’s bone to heal, and up to 6 weeks in a teenager. Keeping kids safe and child safety is not bubble-wrapping them. It isn’t broken bones we worry about but concussions (and obviously death).

Safety tip: Do stop them running around a swimming pool. You aren’t being paranoid. But let them run around the backyard and in the park. Let them ride bikes (but with helmets ALWAYS).
