Paranoid Parents Anonymous Meeting – How to Make Your Kid Lose at Soccer – Kids Sports Safety
10:30 a.m.
WHAT: Grab a Starbucks and come unload your worries and listen to a talk to get the morning moving. You don’t have to be paranoid to attend and enjoy an hour of parenting sanity. Our webinar club meetings start in March–sorry you missed this one but see soccer safety and sports safety advice below.
WHO: Parents, step parents, foster parents, grandparents, caregivers, teachers, any anyone involved in the care of a child are invited to attend
WHERE:
HOW MUCH: Paranoid Parents Anonymous Meetings are always FREE to all attendees.
That club meeting was last year–did you learn the trick, I was able to turn that talk into a chapter in my book The Paranoid Parents Guide. Kids sports safety, kids sports success are important to parents so here is a sports safety hint.
Hint: Yelling instructions to them puts your kids brain’s back into caveman flight or fight mode. Yell at them from the side lines and you will probably freeze their brain for a milli-second–and they will lose their game. Even cheering can put them off their game. Ask your kid what ‘support’ style works best for them before you yell your lungs out.
